How to connect with your PaxCloudVPN config
⚠️ Important: WireGuard must be installed on your device (phone, tablet, computer). Our servers are already configured - you just need to:
- Install WireGuard client on your device
- Download/scan your config from this dashboard
- Import it into WireGuard on your device
- Connect!
Multi-Region Support: When adding a device, you can choose to create configs for all regions or select a specific region. Each region gets its own WireGuard tunnel configuration.
After you add a device and open its details, you can either scan the QR code on your phone or download the
.conf file for desktop WireGuard clients. Simply import the config for your preferred region.
iPhone / iPad
- Install the WireGuard app from the App Store.
- On this dashboard, click View details for your iPhone/iPad device.
- On your phone, open WireGuard → tap “Add a tunnel” → “Create from QR code”.
- Point the camera at the QR code shown here.
- Give the tunnel a name, save, then toggle it On.
Android phone / tablet
- Install the WireGuard app from Google Play.
- Click View details → scan the QR from inside the WireGuard app.
- Alternatively, download the
.confand import it in WireGuard. - Activate the tunnel and confirm traffic flows through PaxCloudVPN.
macOS / Windows / Linux
- Install the official WireGuard client for your OS.
- On this page, click View details → Download .conf for your computer device.
- In WireGuard, import the configuration file.
- Check that DNS and traffic are routed through PaxCloudVPN.
🔒 Kill Switch (Advanced)
- Your config includes optional kill switch rules (commented out by default).
- To enable: Open your
.conffile and uncomment the PostUp/PreDown lines (remove#). - To disable: Disconnect VPN, then comment out the PostUp/PreDown lines (add
#back), then reconnect. - Linux/macOS only - Requires root/sudo privileges to run WireGuard.
- Kill switch blocks all non-VPN traffic, preventing leaks if the VPN disconnects.
- Note: Not compatible with mobile apps or Windows GUI client.
